I turn the key
And I step inside our house
Everything is in it's place
But seems like the walls cry at every scream or shout

I drop everything to the floor
Because I remember you're no longer here
Even if I was to call your name over and over
Everything seems to easily shatter like a mirror

With my outstretched hands
No one is here to hold them before they fall
When night comes silently
I pick up the phone a million times to check if you called

I sit alone watching our memories
Grabbing every chance to smile
Trying my hardest not to cry
Like scissors, the pain is cutting across me for awhile

Without a word of goodbye
We suddenly meant nothing to each other
I hold your picture, wetting it with tears
I use to wrap you around me like a blanket cover

Now I don't know how
Everything's changed and I'm still ok
It was so hard to let go
But could've been easier with the word "stay"
